Recognitions and Achievements
EcoVadis: Since 2020, SIT’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance has been certified by EcoVadis, an international rating agency that assesses companies’ CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) performance. In 2023, SIT reconfirms the coveted SILVER medal, previously achieved between 2021 and 2022, by improving its score and securing 63 points out of 100.
Sustainability Award 2023: SIT has won the Sustainability Award 2023, an award promoted by Kon Group and Elite (Euronext) in partnership with Azimut. The award recognizes Italian companies that have demonstrated the best ability to innovate, renew, and mobilize their best energies, promoting sustainable, inclusive, and stable growth and creating added value for all stakeholders. SIT secured the top position in the “Top 100 ESG Score” ranking, reserved for companies with a turnover exceeding 250 million euros.
IGI2023: SIT Spa has emerged as the top company among those not included in the first 100 of the Integrated Governance Index (IGI), an index that measures the integration of sustainability into corporate strategies developed by ET.Group.
Leader della Sostenibilità: SIT has been included in the “Sustainability Leaders 2023,” a list of the 240 most sustainable and transparent Italian companies in reporting, categorized by economic size among large, medium, and small enterprises. This list was compiled by Statista in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore.
CDP: SIT has received the “C – Awareness” rating from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), an international non-profit organization that provides businesses, local authorities, governments, and investors with a global system for environmental measurement and reporting.
In April 2023 SIT obtained the Gender Equality Certification for the Italian companies of the Group, following the UNI/PDR 125:2022 reference standard.
